Ella (Harding) Eddy
     Ella Malinda Harding was born on 19 December 1860 in Barre, Worcester County, Massachusetts.1,5,3,4 She was the daughter of George Harding and Ruth Melinda Delvey.1,2,3,4,5 Ella Malinda Harding and Robert Carpenter Eddy appeared on the Census of 1880 in Orange, Franklin County, Massachusetts.6 On 7 January 1880 Ella married Robert Carpenter Eddy, son of Chester Wales Eddy and Sarah Jane Bowman.1,5,3,7 She was well known to book lovers as a collector of rare books, her library being quite large. Ella Malinda Harding died on Sunday, 15 July 1928 in Meriden, New Haven County, Connecticut, at age 67 years, 6 months and 26 days.3 Ella's gravestone inscription in Riverside Cemetery, Barre, Worcester County, Massachusetts, reads:
