Samuel Rice was baptized on 12 November 1634 in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England. He was the son of Deacon Edmund Rice and Thomasine Frost. On 8 November 1655 in Sudbury, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, Samuel married Elizabeth King, daughter of Thomas King and Anne Collins.1 In September 1668 in Sudbury, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, Samuel married Mary Dix, daughter of Edward Dix and Jane Wilkerson. On 13 December 1676 in Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, Samuel married Sarah White, daughter of John White and Joane West. Samuel Rice died on Sunday, 25 February 1684/85 in Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 50 years, 3 months and 13 days.
