Joseph Rice was baptized on 13 March 1637/38 in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England.2 He was the son of Deacon Edmund Rice and Thomasine Frost.1,2 On 4 May 1658 in Sudbury, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, Joseph married Mercy King, daughter of Thomas King.3 About 1670 Joseph married Mary Beers, daughter of Capt. Richard Beers and Elizabeth unknown. On 26 February 1677 in Dedham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, Joseph married Sarah Prescott, daughter of John Prescott and Mary Platts.4 On 23 December 1677 in Dedham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, Joseph married Sarah Prescott, daughter of John Prescott and Mary Platts.5 On 22 February 1677/78 in Dedham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, Joseph married Sarah Prescott, daughter of John Prescott and Mary Platts.6,2 Joseph Rice was living in 1685 in Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 He died after 1700.2
