Eustace married Goda, daughter of Æthelred II "the Unrede" King of England and Emma of Normandy.2 Eustace II "aux Gernons" Count of Boulogne and Lens was born about 1030 in Boulogne, Upper Lorraine, France.2 He was the son of Eustace I Count of Boulogne and Matilda of Louvain.1,2 In December 1057 Eustace married Ida of Bouillon, daughter of Geoffrey II "the Bearded" Duke of Upper and Lower Lorraine, Count of Verdun.1,2 He faught at the Battle of Hastings in 1066.1 Eustace II "aux Gernons" Count of Boulogne and Lens died between 1070 and 1080.2
