     Moses Flanders was born on 23 June 1791 in Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.1,2,3 He was the son of Jedidiah Flanders and Judith Tuxbury.1,2,3,4 On 21 November 1811 in Canaan, Somerset County, Maine, Moses married Roxana Webb, daughter of Christopher Webb and Betsey Smith.3,4,5 He was a private in Lt. Col. J. Waugh's regiment, which was raised at Cornville during the War of 1812.3,6 Moses Flanders died on Friday, 17 January 1845 in Cornville, Somerset County, Maine, at age 53 years, 6 months and 25 days.7,8,9 He and Roxana Webb were buried in the West Ridge Cemetery, Cornville, Somerset County, Maine.7
