Thankful White was born on 27 March 1689 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Josiah White and Mary Rice.1 On 6 November 1712 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts, Thankful married Lt. Jonathan Houghton, son of John Houghton Jr Esq and Mary Farrar. By the Rev. Mr. John Prentice.1 Thankful White died on Monday, 8 April 1737 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts, at age 48 years and 12 days.
