     Alfonso I Henriques King of Portugal was born on 25 July 1110 in Guimaraes, Portugal.1 He was the son of Henry I of Burgundy Count of Portugal and Theresa of Castile and Leon.1 He recoverd Lisbon from the Moors.1 Alfonso I Henriques King of Portugal was crowned first King of Portugal in 1128.1 In 1146 Alfonso married Matilda of Savoy, daughter of Amadeus III Count of Savoy and Marquis of Maurienne and Matilda d'Albon.1 Alfonso I Henriques King of Portugal died on Friday, 6 December 1185 in Coimbra, Portugal, at age 75 years, 4 months and 11 days.1
