Their marriage date was recorded as 25 (10) 1656.3,4,1,2,5,6,7 About 1673 Elizabeth married Deacon Thomas Dyer.3,8,2,7 Elizabeth unknown gave five shillings for the building of Harvard College. in 1678.2 She left a will on 20 November 1678 in Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.1,2,7 She died on Tuesday, 31 January 1678/79 in Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.3,1,2,7 Her estate was probated on 31 January 1678/79 in Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.2,1 Jameson (1886) , Johnson (1975), and Adams (1898) give her last name as 'Adams.' Many have thought it was "Thaxter" and she was the daughter of Thomas Thaxter. Both are incorrect.
