     Florent II "the Fat" Count of Holland was born between 1080 and 1084.1 He was the son of Dietrich V Count of West Friesland and Ulfhilde.1 His name was also spelt "Florenz II "the Fat"."1 Florent II "the Fat" Count of Holland succeeded to the throne in 1101 as the Count of Holland.1 About 1113 Florent married Gertrude of Alsace unknown, daughter of Dietrich II of Alsace Duke of Upper Lorraine and Gertrude of Flanders.1 Florent II "the Fat" Count of Holland died on Wednesday, 2 March 1121.1
