      Tiberius married Anastasia. Tiberius II Constantinus Emperor of the East was crowned Emperor of the East in 578 at Constantinople, Empire of the East.1 During his reign, there were wars with the Persians and Avars. At this time also, the Slavs were advancing into Thrace and Greece.1 He died in 582.1
