John Pschirer

     John Pschirer was born in 1861 in Petlarn, Austria.^1,2 He was the son of John Pschirer.^1,2 He carved The Way of the Cross for St. Anna's Church in Austria in 1878.¹ John Pschirer emigrated with John Pschirer in 1881.^1,2 John Pschirer was a sculpter, musician, farmer, grocer and hotel owner.¹ In 1883 John married Anna Roeschenthaler.^1,2 John carved the Wilkins Family monument in Pittsburgh's Allegheny Cemetery in 1887. This monument resembles a tree with branches for the family offspring.¹ John Pschirer died in 1935 at age 74 years.³
