Thomas Sawyer was born in 1616 in Lincolnshire, England.1,2 He was the son of John Sawyer.1 Thomas Sawyer was baptized on 24 March 1630 in Lincolnshire, England.1 He lived in 1645 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts.2 He moved in 1647 to Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts, where he was on of the original settlers.2 On 2 July 1648 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts, Thomas married Mary Prescott, daughter of John Prescott and Mary Platts.3,4,2,5 Thomas Sawyer left a will on 6 March 1705/6 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts.2 He died on Sunday, 12 September 1706 in Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts, at age 90 years.2 His estate was probated on 12 April 1720 in Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2
