Sarah (Berry) Flanders
     Sarah A. Berry was born on 16 November 1829 in Palmyra, Somerset County, Maine.1 She was the daughter of Eliphalet Berry and Mary P. Kimball.1 Sarah A. Berry and Frederick Flanders filed marriage intentions on 28 October 1853 in Cornville, Somerset County, Maine.2 On 30 October 1853 in St. Albans, Somerset County, Maine, Sarah married Frederick Flanders, son of Moses Flanders and Roxana Webb. It was a double wedding with her sister, Abigail.3,4,5 According to the 1880 Census, neither Frederick nor Sarah could read or write as both were deaf and dumb.3 Sarah A. Berry and Frederick Flanders appeared on the Census of 1880 in Palmyra, Somerset County, Maine.3 Sarah A. Berry died on Tuesday, 12 December 1893 in Palmyra, Somerset County, Maine, at age 64 years and 26 days.1
